Bullying and cyber bullying have been linked to depression, anxiety, drug abuse and suicide. It is not just a problem of our youth and schools but occurs in the workplace and in other settings with adults as well. Simply telling someone to avoid a bully is not the answer. Everyone must stand up and speak out to give a strong message that bullying will not be tolerated anywhere.      Arc Northland in Duluth will be holding a special fundraiser this year selling “Stop Bullying’ tee shirts from Minnesota Nice® These tees are printed in Duluth, Minnesota and like all locally produced Minnesota Nice® clothing, they are tagged at Pinewood, providing jobs for adults with disabilities.

Shirts for this sale will be grey with navy print. They are available in youth sizes from XS to XL and men’s and women’s sizes S to 3XL. They will sell for $15.00 each with $5.00 for each shirt sold going directly to Arc Northland. (There is an additional $3.00 charge for sizes 2XL and 3XL.)  

    Tees for pre-Xmas delivery can be ordered by mail from 11/10/11 through 12/2/11. and picked up in the Arc office from 12/19/11 through 12/22/11. (Office hours are 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.)
